Catholic Charities Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC) offers a birth parent support group for all birth mothers and birth fathers who have placed a child or are considering placing a child for adoption. This group is an opportunity for you to meet other birth parents, hear their stories, share your own, and feel supported. If you know of other birth parents who would like to come please pass along this information. Feel free to bring a support person if you would like. Open to all birth parents regardless of agency used. Catholic Charities Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC) also hosts a Facebook group for anyone who has ever had a child placed for adoption. To join, you need to email Christy (firstname.lastname@example.org) and she can add you to the group, as it is not searchable on Facebook to respect the privacy of members.
Lutheran Social Services Birth Parent Support Group

Lutheran Social Services birth parent support group meets at the LSS office at 647 W. Virginia St. Milwaukee from 6-8 pm every other month (dates vary – contact Carrie for information on the next meeting. This group is open to any birth parent that has already made an adoption plan for their child.
Touched By Adoption
County: Eau Claire
A group for anyone touched by adoption, including adult adoptees and birth parents. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of every other month, 6:00-8:00 PM in the Eau Claire area.

An annual retreat for birth mothers typically held each spring in Wisconsin Dells. Free to attend event, and scholarships are available to offset travel and lodging expenses.
Adoption Choice Inc. Online Birth Parent Support Group

This is a private Facebook page where birth mothers can ask questions, post comments, or simply just talk about what is going on in their lives. It is completely private and only approved members are able to read, view and post comments.
Concerned United Birthparents, Inc. (CUB)
A national organization focused on birthparents, their experiences, healing, and wisdom. They offer an online forum that is open to anyone who has been touched by adoption to engage in discussion around adoption. In addition, they facilitate an annual retreat and provide links to additional resources.
An organization and website that provides peer counseling, support, encouragement, and friendship to birthmoms as well as pregnant women considering adoption. They have many resources available that include a newsletter, online forum, blog, and annual retreat, among other things.
