Sleeping bag (check), bug spray (check), swimsuit (check); summer camp here she comes! Ashanti is a fun-loving, friendly girl who looks forward to seeing her old pals and making new memories at summer camp. Like many other tweens, tablet time is important. Though, when it comes right down to it, if you mention a trip to the mall or library, Ashanti will put the tablet down and join you. She finds joy in helping others and is learning how to cook and bake, which she really likes. She sometimes struggles with transitions and would do well with a “no matter what” family to give her support and pep talks along the way.
ReKiyia is a spunky little girl who loves to be the center of attention and will corral anyone she can find to watch her sing and dance. She is an outgoing child who enjoys pretending that she is a hairdresser, especially with her sister, Ashanti. As much as she enjoys interacting with people, during down time she can be found watching television and coloring.
Both Ashanti and ReKiyia are in need of a “no matter what” family to provide attention, support, and a nurturing environment. It is important to the girls that an adoptive family is open to maintaining contact with other members of their biological family.
