Haydon is described as a people pleaser with an inquisitive and energetic personality. An adult close to him shared that he likes being a helper and is “very active, doing anything and everything. He is always up to trying something new!” Haydon enjoys crafts, playing checkers, swimming, dancing, singing, and playing outside. His list of favorite things includes dinosaurs, Cocomelon, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, and pizza. Haydon doesn’t have any real dislikes, except for the word “no.”

Haydon needs a “no matter what” family who will be committed to him, especially when facing challenges. It is essential that a loving, nurturing, patient family allow him the time he needs to build a bond towards a trusting relationship. His trauma-informed “no matter what” family will need to give him plenty of one-on-one attention and be willing to continue therapeutic interventions to help him be the best he can be. A home without pets is a requirement. Haydon has contact with his siblings and a close relationship with his current caregivers. His “no matter what” family must be willing to help Haydon maintain these important connections.
