Paper, crayons, pencils, paint, brushes – you’ll need to make sure you have plenty of art supplies in stock for these creative girls! They all love drawing and painting, but that’s not all they have in common. This sibling group likes to dance and cook, and they do well in school both academically and socially. All three girls had the same answer when asked where they would visit if they could go anywhere on Earth – Disney World!
Se’Kia, the eldest sibling, likes to watch Disney movies and play basketball. Teachers describe her as helpful and positive. Se’Kia loves spending time with friends. When she’s outside, Se’Kia likes to ride bikes and go camping. When she’s having a hard day, watching TV by herself or listening to music makes her feel better.
Ta’Raji, the middle sister, also enjoys Disney movies and is interested in gymnastics. Her teachers say that she is always positive and interactive in class. Ta’Raji shared that reading can be difficult for her but she’s working hard to get better. Her sisters can always make her laugh. When she’s having a hard day spending one-on-one time with an adult or eating ice cream helps turn her mood around.
Ki’Rye, the youngest of the group, loves to play outside more than anything. Her personality brightens up any room she enters. She likes to watch Bluey and You Tube videos and loves spending time with her sisters. She doesn’t have hard days in general but can take on the moods of others when they are feeling down. When this happens she feels better after spending some time by herself.
These sisters would do well with other children in the home and they would love to have pets. It’s important that their “no matter what” family be willing to maintain significant family connections following placement and adoption. This sibling group will benefit from a “no matter what” family who can provide consistent structure and routine. These girls have a lot of love for each other and more love to share.
