Ashanti is a fun-loving, friendly girl who looks forward to seeing her old pals and making new memories at summer camp. Like many other tweens, tablet time is important. Though, when it comes right down to it, if you mention a trip to the mall or library, Ashanti will put the tablet down and join you. She finds joy in helping others and is learning how to cook and bake, which she really likes. Ashanti struggles with transitions and would do well with a family to give her support and pep talks along the way. She will thrive in a family that balances patience, structure, clear expectations, and lots of one-on-one time. It is important that her adoptive family support her desire to maintain contact with her biological siblings as well as former caregivers. Ashanti is a funny, friendly and all around great kid who deserves a committed family that will won’t give up on her.
